The foot is considered as one of the most complex parts of the body that consists of 26 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments. Foot pain is a type of pain that can be felt anywhere in the foot that includes heel, toes, arch, instep, sole, or ankles. The foot pain results in a limited movement.



There are various reasons of foot pain and some of them are listed below:-

Shoes: - Foot pain can occur because of your shoes that don’t fit you properly either they are too tight or too loose.

A fracture in the bone can also results in a foot pain. In many cases the pain is not elicited until the bone is stressed by use.

Arthritic conditions, mostly osteoarthritis and gout, can cause foot pain.

People suffering from diabetes may have to face serious foot disorders.

The impact of high blood pressure on the nervous system can cause pain, loss of sensation, and tingling in the feet. It also increases the risk for foot ulcers.

You can apply ice to reduce pain and swelling.

Always Wear foot pads in areas of friction or pressure in order to avoid irritation.

For washing your feet always use warm water and the feet and areas between the toes should be thoroughly dried afterward.

Well-fitting footwear is very important and you should avoid high heels, sandals, thongs, and going barefoot.
